Based on the statistical data of 2000–2009, this paper analyzes the interdependence trade and economic growth between China and the U.S. and policy choice for new trade protectionism with empirical. In foreign trade and economic growth there is a close link, and interdependence between China and the United States. But the findings show that: China-US trade on U.S. economic growth in a very important role to promote and facilitate. China-US trade volume accounts for the proportion of U.S. foreign trade volume in the rising share of U.S. gross domestic product is also rising, the Chinese import and export trade in the United States plays a decisive role. The China-US trade volume and the proportion of China´s foreign trade volume accounted for a share of China´s GDP declining U.S. economic growth will inevitably have serious implications. This is mainly to protect the United States has much to trade. We should therefore develop appropriate countermeasures to deal with.
