After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

Project management techniques can be adopted for any project, but the way of application of the project management techniques varies from project to project, depending on different characteristics of each project. Construction management is widely employed in the civil construction sector and it has its own characteristics which should be considered when the project management techniques are adopted. This paper states and describes the characteristics of the construction management and tells how to manage a construction project with the project management techniques.
