In this paper, we study the multiple attribute group decision making problem of supplier selection, in which the attribute weights and expert weights take the form of real numbers, and the preference values take the form of uncertain linguistic variables. Based on the linguistic weighted averaging (LWA) operator and the uncertain linguistic weighted averaging (ULWA) operator, we develop a new approach to the multiple attribute group decision making for supplier selection. Finally, an illustrative numerical example is given to verify the developed approach.
