  • Abstract
Experimentally, composite resonators made of a thick piezo-film surrounded by two thin brass electrodes and by two rubber foils are investigated. The piezoelectric films are polyvinylidene fluoride (PVF 2). Using PFV2 in a transducer, a compressive stress of typically 0.6 MPa induces an upward shift of the resonance frequency by 10% and a decrease of the quality factor by 50%
