In recent years, with the increasing exposed disadvantages, such as complicated and volatile buyer´s market, low efficiency of internal management, high cost, lack of flexibility and so on, the companies´ survival and development are seriously affected. In this paper, the philosophy of integrated innovation has been brought into IE which integrates organizations, knowledge, resources and other elements to improve the IE application effect of industry enterprises and fundamentally enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. This paper describes the theory source of lean thinking, the theory of integrated innovation, the problems faced at the present stage of China´s manufacturing industry, the construction of integrated innovation system of industrial engineering in industry enterprises. Finally, an example will be introduced for the application of lean thinking in design process.
