Abstract
This paper studies the radiated electromagnetic fields of a circular chirowaveguide mounted on an infinite conducting flange and excited by a dipole antenna. A concept of multilayered structure is introduced and the dyadic Green´s functions in different regions are purposely derived by applying the method of scattering superposition and matching the boundary conditions. By means of the dyadic Green´s function technique, the radiation characteristics of this structure are discussed in case of an excitation of an infinitesimal electric dipole. The plots of the radiation patterns are provided and some comparisons are also made.
