Abstract
The incident interference for smart antennas are serious while operating, so low side-lobe property is necessary. A Monte Carlo algorithm is introduced firstly to implement the beam-forming for smart antennas. Weight vector of phase excitation is adjusted as the optimized variable, the effects of different phase steps on optimized results are compared, the conclusion derived can be referenced while synthesizing a pattern for smart antennas.
