Abstract
The finite difference time domain (FDTD) method can be used to analyze complex microstrip patch antennas with various feed structures. This paper uses some recent advances in conjunction with the FDTD algorithm to accurately and quickly analyze this kind of antenna with coaxial probe feed. The use of these novel techniques make it possible to analyze large complex objects.
