Abstract
The electrical input impedance spectra of 1-3-type lead zirconate titanate (PZT) composites exhibit features which can be assigned to resonances in difference modes of wave propagation in the plate. When two modes have resonances at similar frequencies, the modes couple and perturbations arise in the spectra. The frequency shifts of thickness and transverse resonance modes indicate the extent of interaction between PZT and the resin matrix
