    The purpose of this research is to analyze the transmission pathway and empirically investigate the economic effects of electricity price volatility. Based on Input-output price model, this paper quantified the impact of electricity price adjustment on related sectors and whole economy. The results show that there are different impacts of electricity price adjustment on different economic sectors in China. The price policy is supposed to benefit the development of electric power industry and consider each economic sector´s capacity for acceptance.
