Abstract
The Lorenz system is applied to a class of pseudorandom number generators based on the higher secrecy of a high-dimension chaotic system. Firstly, the time-frequency characteristic of Lorenz chaotic sequences is analyzed thoroughly. Secondly, it is realized that the optimized disposal can roundly improve on their inherent limitations in the time and frequency domains. Finally, the randomness of the chaotic sequences is validated using a statistical test. The analysis and simulation indicate that Lorenz chaotic sequences, after the optimized disposal, have all the functions of uniform distribution, good correlation properties and being similar to the spectrum of white noise. They are a class of promising chaotic sequences in the field of information encryption and secure communication.
