Abstract
In the radio frequency simulation system (RFSS) for a missile guidance system, location precision of the simulated targets is a very important performance parameter. There are many elements that influence the location precision. In the paper only the near field that affects the location precision is discussed. The radar under test is an amplitude-comparison monopulse radar, and the calculation formula of the near field effect on the location precision is induced.
