After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

With the development of economy, global warming triggered by it is drawing more and more attention. This paper first introduces the BRICS´ economic development status and situation of carbon dioxide emissions. And then it analyzes the four countries´ Environmental Kuznets Curve and clarifies the relationship between economic development and carbon dioxide emissions. Finally, the paper focuses on policies and measures to control carbon dioxide emissions for China´s sustainable development of economy.
