Abstract
In general, transferring motor skills from human to human via conventional media is very difficult, and training takes a lot of time to be completed. A robotic device can be considered as a medium through which motion intelligence or motor skill is transferred. This mechanical medium can provide accurate measurement and physical assistance which is often effective for motor skill training. Our goal is to develop the machine mediated training system for motor skills. In this paper, the skill transfer based on coaching by the neural network-based virtual expert is discussed. In the training experiments, the skill-up process is investigated and the effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed
