  • Abstract
Discrete sliding mode current control of grid-connected PWM converters is designed and analyzed. A rather low switching frequency of 2.5 kHz is used. Main contributions of this work are the use of an advanced discrete system model, taking the PWM and computation delays directly into account, and comparison of different approaches for performance improvement. Moreover, the generation of the reference state trajectory and a feedforward taking into account physical limitations is presented. Experimental results confirm the theoretical results.
