Abstract
An effective method to estimate relative motion state of aircrafts without external navigation system is proposed. By making use of second order of square of the distances and setting threshold of mini-detecting acceleration, relative maneuvering state is judged from sequential test. CV, CA or CV-CA model is choosed for different motion state. Simple multi-model makes this method simple, steady performance and small computation complexity. Simulations show that it can locate an aircraft with unknown maneuvering state at any time.
