Abstract
Hot water is required for space heating and hot water supply The necessary water parameters are low enough. We burn the fossil fuel to receive steam with high parameters. Then the steam is throttled. This scheme is inefficient with the thermodynamic point of view. In our country the main way of the heating supply has been chosen the central heating-supply system. Advantages of the central heating-supply system are widely recognized. With the thermodynamic point of view, the combined generation of the heat and electric power is more effective than separate one. However, the central heating supply has some disadvantages. One of the nonconventional heat supply methods is the use of the low potential heat. The heat pump may use such energy.
