  • Abstract
    In this paper, the authors apply their lumped parameter model in order to simulate the behaviour of MHD generators. In particular they evaluate the performance of these devices taking into account the nonuniform distribution of the main physical quantities that affect the energy conversion (i.e. temperature, pressure, magnetic field and so on). In addition, the connection of MHD generators to high voltage AC lines is also analysed. The results of all simulations executed are shown and discussed
