Abstract
It was shown that the ignition of nitroglycerin composition realizes due to the heated layer of the condensed phase resulted from the action of the laser radiation and atmosphere oxygen if it gets into the near-surface space in sufficient quantity With the irradiation of the central part of the end the deepening occurs. Non-irradiated surface starts to play the role of a distinctive "armoring", the ends of which hamper the access for oxygen to the surface irradiated. With the irradiation of the end surface border such hindrance doesn\´t occur. Thus, to provide a steady-state ignition there is no necessity to irradiate all end surface of the sample. It is sufficient to irradiate part of it only. Every composition has its own optimal energy of the ignition with the irradiation area typical for it. Ignition of nitroglycerin composition realizes due to the heated layer of the condensed phase and air oxygen if it gets into near surface space of fuel in sufficient quantity.
