Abstract
This paper introduces a design method of two-dimensional (2-D) FIR filter based on McClellan transformation. At first, one selects the cosin function as the transition band function to design a one-dimensional FIR filter, then one designs the two-dimensional filter by using McClellan (1973) transformation. The design can provide satisfying results and can eliminate the Gibbs phenomenon
