Abstract
The aim of this approach is to evaluate magnetic fields generated by the power system, which humans can be exposed to. This study is preliminary and aims the development of a risk of exposure assessment questionnaire. The measurements are performed for some case studies representative for: houses, apartments, public areas situated near or far from power grid, also a statistical analysis of measurement results is performed. The background magnetic field levels were in the range of 10 to 519 nT with high space and temporal variability.
