  • Abstract
The construction industry is a dangerous industry with high frequency of accidents resulting in financial losses, injuries, disabilities and deaths. Construction safety supervision helps to reduce the accident rate, lower the security costs and provide a safer production environment. In this paper, a game model of construction safety supervision is established based on evolutionary game theory, in which the two players are the government supervision department and the construction enterprise. Then the behavior of the contractor and government supervision department is analyzed. The study shows that the stable state of construction safety supervision is mainly related to the cost of regulatory procedures, the probability of accidents and the loss of construction enterprises when accidents happen. Finally, several effective measures of construction safety supervision are presented.
