Abstract
The city transportation mix increases the trend towards the use of battery powered vehicles shows potential additional gains for the electric utility companies, in view of the technological improvements provided by the makers of these cars. Furthermore, this means an effective oil fuel consumption reduction, and additional air and sound pollution decrease. This paper suggest a probabilistic based analysis of the impacts on daily load curves in view of vehicle battery recharges. Additionally, the paper discusses some energy and environmental effects.
