Abstract
This paper presents an efficient method for the decoding of spaceborne synthetic-aperture radar data. Algorithms are proposed for converting a two-dimensional set of raw radar data into an image of the Earth´s surface. Range correlation, azimuth correlation and range walk correction are considered. A software implementation of these algorithms is discussed
