Abstract
In this work, two different tail types (V Tail and Conventional Tail) are compared and evaluated which assembled with a boom using the parameters of designed UAV. The drag coefficients of both models are calculated using a software package at different angles of attack. The projection areas of V tail are taken into account as equal to the area of the horizontal and vertical parts of the conventional tail. The results of the calculations are compared and analyzed.
