  • Abstract
A strategy is described for finding cascades of basic transistor circuits that are able to compensate for quadratic and/or cubic nonlinearities in a compact two-state amplifier arrangement. Such amplifiers are able to achieve low nonlinearity combined with low-power consumption and relatively high gain. The strategy is explained for bipolar transistors as well as for field-effect transistors. Examples are given
