Abstract
For the problem of complexity in the original space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) overmodulation algorithms in the orthogonal coordinates, a novel method in the 60° coordinate system is proposed. It can incorporate whole modulation area and do not need to calculate the maintain angle. The active voltage vector is easy to chosen in six-step mode according to the value of voltage vectors´ working time, without calculation of reference voltage´s phase angle.
