  • Abstract
    Slot waveguide has a wide band and high aperture efficiency, simulated the return loss characteristics of single-ridge gap waveguide by using three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation software HFSS and MATLAB, analyzed the return loss of 8-slot single ridge waveguide with rectangular, single hole and double arc gap, and compared the bandwidth of different single ridge height and width of the slot waveguide. The results show that VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) bandwidth of the single ridge gap waveguide is wider than rectangular waveguide, the bandwidth of double arc gap is wider than rectangular gap, single-hole gap radiation is very small and has nothing to do with the size of the aperture. These features of the gap ridge waveguide provide a reference to the applications in communications and radar antenna.
