Abstract
This paper describes the design and implementation of a digital control system for a dual half bridge isolated bi-directional dc-dc converter. A PID controller with anti-windup protection is designed and implemented in DSP. Due to the absence of phase shift controller in adopted DSP hardware, a software based phase shift modulation (PSM) scheme is developed to implement phase shift control. Software and hardware implementation issues are described and experimental results show a good dynamic response achieved.
