  • Abstract
To counter the on-line control problem when the capacity of power systems is expanded, the robust decentralized connective stabilization control method is studied for a class of interconnected power systems in which the new subsystems are added to one after another on line in this paper. The problem is how to design the local control law of the new subsystem based on not changing the decentralized control laws of original power system, so that both the subsystem and the resultant expanded power system are connective stable. The sufficient condition of the robust decentralized connective stabilization for the expanding construction of the interconnected power systems is obtained by taking Lyapunov theory and LMI approach. The design Method of the robust decentralized connective stabilization controller of the new subsystem is given. The control simulation results for the interconnected power system modol with expanding construction show the effectiveness of presented method.
