Abstract
According to the analysis of both advantages and disadvantages of various monitoring systems, a real-time monitoring system for transmission line´s galloping based on GPRS/CDMA is developed in this paper. On one hand, measured data is used to modify the simulation model and calculation parameters to avoid empty theoretic study and deficiency of calculation precision. On the other hand, deficient monitoring point and measured data which is hard to gain due to lower occurrence probability in the extreme meteorologic conditions can be compensated via simulation. Corrected and accurate simulation model combining with weather forecast and measured data can issue a warning ahead of time for the operation security of transmission lines.
