Abstract
Orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) is a promising multiuser access scheme. In this paper, we develop a low-complexity blind carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimator/or OFDMA-based wireless networks. A random frequency hopping/user permutation scheme is adopted to mitigate the effects of multipath fading and multiuser interference. The performance of this novel CFO estimator is tested via simulations and compared with existing blind CFO estimators.
