Abstract
This paper presents a relative synchronization of data sampling algorithm based on relative time coordinate not on absolute time coordinate. The time relies on common time which can be viewed as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). On the basis of the UTC, the synchronization of data sampling in the system can be achieved. Actually, GPS is an UTC in power system. Based on GPS, the synchronization of data sampling at UHV line two terminals can come to high precision. If GPS signal defaults, the every equipment based on GPS will work abnormally. Considering this reason, the security equipments based on GPS cannot be used widely. So we proposed a method of relative synchronization of data sampling at UHV line two terminals. The method does not take absolute time as a common criterion, but takes the zero-cross of current wave at UHV line two terminals as a common criterion. The precision can arrive to lus. The UHV line parameter model based on artificial nerve network (ANN) is constructed to validate it. The effect of the experimentation we have done gets well.
