  • Abstract
    This paper concerns the modeling and identification of the vertical dynamics of an agricultural machine with suspended cabin. The main goal of the model is to provide an instrument for semi-active suspension design in terms of both control laws design and mechanical specifications (mechatronic design). The proposed model is a semiphysical model of the machine. The described identification process is based on a two-stage procedure. First the sub-models of vehicle and cabin are identified. Then the full model is finally computed. The model is finally validated experimentally.
