Abstract
The dielectric response of the binary mixtures of dimethyl substituted pyridines have been studied for different temperatures using microwave cavity spectrometer. The dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss have been calculated on the basis of the observation of relative width, shift and amplitude of the resonance profile. The relaxation time, loss tangent and its excess values are reported along with thermodynamical parameter to understand the effect of the temperature variation on the mixtures of different positional isomers of dimethyl substituted pyridines. This work is useful to understand the effect of temperature and solute-solvent interaction.
