Abstract
This paper describes the main aspects related to the development of a van Veen and Bergervoet antenna prototype as a student project. A brief description of this educational experience are presented, in which the details of the design and construction of the antenna, and the results concerning the antenna calibration and evaluation of the radiated emission of some lighting system samples, in the 9 kHz - 30 MHz frequency range, are emphasized. Some results concerning the electromagnetic environment sensibility analysis are also presented.
