Abstract
Gilbert´s equation of motion is solved alongside Maxwell´s equations with dielectric and conductive anisotropy. The algorithm is derived using only central differences and averages just like Yee´s scheme for isotropic materials. This is done by using a Lebedev grid with the magnetization vector stored at the same locations as the magnetic field. Numerical simulations of linearly polarized plane waves in an infinite ferrite medium show that Faraday rotation can be observed with the biasing magnetic field and direction of propagation aligned as well as when they are offset.
