Abstract
Transform coding constitutes an essential module of modern image/video processing applications. The main principle of transform coding relies on the fact that pixels in an image reveal a certain level of correlation with their adjacent pixels. This paper explores the idea of Discrete Cosine Transform in exploiting the algorithm for embedding assorted watermarks in digital video. The paper primarily elucidates the concept of Discrete Cosine Transform in concise and its explication to the application in video watermarking. The paper focuses on convinced algorithms to embed diverse watermarks in the video frames. A useful watermark scheme should be visually indiscernible and must be robust to stand firm various attacks. The robustness of the schemes offered in the paper is verified by a mixture of noise and signal processing attacks. They are also verified by video watermarking attacks like frame dropping and frame averaging. Embedding an Image, an Audio and a video were achievable using the presented algorithms.
