  • Abstract
Communication and defence systems are making increasing demands on microwave and millimetre wave amplifiers in terms of performance and cost. The monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) now plays a central role in such systems. This paper describes the design and measured performance of a range of microwave and millimetre wave MMIC amplifiers. Both low noise and power amplifiers have been realised using a pseudomorphic HEMT process
