  • Abstract
We study the BER performance of a TDMA system mixed with slow frequency hopping code division multiple access (SFH/CDMA) which uses 2-bit differentially detected GMSK over a Rayleigh fading channel corrupted by AWGN. We can obtain the BER results using the characteristic function of demodulator´s output, which has cochannel interference while a hop is being hit. The TDMA/SFH system in a 3M/L fractional reuse structure is considered and analyzed. A computer simulation is also implemented to show the validity of numerical analysis. We show that the TDMA system with frequency hopping has an improved performance compared to the conventional TDMA system without frequency hopping
