  • Abstract
Current data in triggered lightning has been analyzed for comparison on current peak, Rise time, Half-peak width and charge transfer of M-component and ICC pulse, they have quite similar GM values. Electric field for ICC pulse have been calculated with physical model, which has quite a good consistency with measured electric field in rising edge but a little inconsistent in falling edge, the result is nearly the same as result for M-component given by former research. By analysis, we consider M-component with peak value of some kilo-ampere associated with breakdown from partway of lightning channel, classical M-component and ICC pulse associated with streamer from charge source in cloud. Based on facts above, we consider M-component and ICC pulse probably rely on similar mechanism.
