Abstract
The aim of this work is to study the electret properties of fibrous polymeric materials based on various polymer matrix: low density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP) and polyamide (PA). Investigation by surface potential decay method has shown that interaction between the no equilibrium charges injected in a sample, and polarization plays an important role in electret state of these materials. Activation energy E as well as a frequency factor ω were determined for relaxation processes associated with polarization and space charge.
