  • Abstract
    Power system control covers a wide spectrum that includes power generation control, load flow control, reactive power control, power system stabilization, etc. This paper highlights power system stabilization. Based on the IEEE PES Index (1993-1994) and the IEE Publication Index (1995), it can be clearly seen that modem trends in power system control evolves around fuzzy-logic control, neurocontrol, adaptive control, and robust control. An overview of the aforementioned techniques is given with special attention to their implementation in power system stabilization
