Abstract
Presents an expert system for estimating lifetime of transformers using clustering with fuzzy theory. By changing the training group for diagnosis, the standards for diagnosis are changed so that one can diagnose taking large amounts of data into consideration. By using a high-speed algorithm with a digital signal processor, the calculation time for the clustering is no more than one second. This calculation time is small enough to use the system for diagnosis on the production line
