Abstract
Honeycomb material can be compared to a myriad of waveguides, which if properly designed as to cell opening and depth, will attenuate a required dB level through a wide frequency range. This paper describes the properties of honeycomb as attenuators of electromagnetic signals. Applications are in shielding enclosures, test chambers, missile control shelters and ventilating ducts
