Abstract
The paper clarified the basic theory and quality of generalized frequency response function (GFRF) and applied it in the gearbox nonlinear fault diagnosis. We presented two GFRF methods to diagnose nonlinear system. The GFRF model expressed and reflected system dynamic characteristics. Because its definite physics means and ease to understand, it is confirmed that using GFRF method to diagnose gearbox nonlinear fault will be gain effective results.
