Abstract
In this paper, modeling and operator-based robust nonlinear tracking control design for a spiral heat exchange process using DCS device are proposed. In details, first, a nonlinear model of a spiral heat exchange process is obtained. Second, considering the present model with uncertainties, an operator based robust nonlinear control using robust right co-prime factorization is studied for obtaining the robust stability. Third, to improve the output tracking performance, a tracking controller is designed for the robust stable system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by simulation results.
