Abstract
A validation procedure for a fault tolerant system conducts a set of fault injection experiments according to certain assumptions and arguments. If the system successfully completes the experiments, then the system can be said to have a given reliability at some confidence level. This paper outlines the assumptions, arguments, and experiments for a possible validation procedure
