Abstract
In this paper, the distributed average tracking problem for coupled general linear systems with local interaction is considered. The reference signals and their control inputs are assumed to be bounded. A nonsmooth control algorithm employing a common control gain is first proposed. It is shown that if the communication graph is connected, then by properly choosing the control gain the average tracking problem is solved. Moreover, a control algorithm with adaptive control gains is proposed, which does not use the information of the bounds on the reference signals and their control inputs. Finally, a simulation example is presented to verify and illustrate the theoretical results.
