  • Abstract
    As the need for energy rises and the pressure is high on maximising network capacity, Nuon wanted to know the maximum load capability of HV/MV-transformers, within actual grid conditions. This research has shown that the maximum load capability of transformers during the winter (based upon Dutch weather conditions) is 120% for two hours. During a failure in the summer the maximum capability is 110%.
